Re: What's for dinner?

I know what you mean!

My heartburn was sooooo bad last night... all night long. I didn't really get any sleep at all. It felt like a fireball in my throat.

I'm home alone, so IDK what I'll eat for dinner. I might make a quesidilla... but just with cheese, the fajita thingy and sour cream. Or I might make some egg noodles. IDK!!

It almost doesn't matter what I eat... the heartburn comes at night regardless!!!

I know. It's seriously torture. I've been taking Pepcid and Tums occasionally and it is not working at all anymore. Have to talk to my dr. on Mon. because I seriously can barely function. It goes from my stomach to my ears! I also keep looking for a refreshing drink but EVERY drink makes it worse. I'm afraid I'm going to dehydrate!

Re: What's for dinner?

I made turkey meatballs, pasta and sauce. Probably not helpful for you with heartburn though!

DH's night to cook. I think he's making baked breaded chicken cutlets, quinoa and peas.

I've been drinking milk when it gets really bad.
Try water with lemon for when it's not so bad.

I took rolaids last night.... rolaids and tums stopped working for me years ago (I've had heartburn issues since i was like 18 yrs old or so). But I NEEDED something. So I tried it. It semi worked. I'm convinced nothing will really work!
When i was born, I had a full head of dark hair. I'm assuming this baby will have the same by the amt of heartburn going on.

I'm also planning on talking to my dr at the next appt. I need to take something to neutralize is.

Re: What's for dinner?

I'm terrible - I too have horrible heartburn and I just drank a glass of milk for it and I'm about to take some Tums and yet tonight for dinner I'm making cheeseburger sliders, onions rings and french fries!
