what do you think the most ideal stroller is for....
taking lots of walks, especially in rugged streets of NYC?
does the city mini work for an infant? does it go flat?

We've heard good things about the Uppababy vista and are leaning towards that...

this is the one that is like $679 right? it seems almost as much as the bugaboo. I really like the look of it but hesitate because of the price....

I don't think it goes flat but I can't say for sure. We are looking at the City Select it has a bassinet that you can buy which would be great for walks in the beginning. It's a great stroller we spent a lot of time looking at it. The only thing I don't like about it is it's a little on the heavy side.

If you want something a little less pricey check out the Zippy. I really loved this stroller but DH likes big wheels and the wheels arent that big. It goes for 3 something and it lies flat, it also has a bassinet attachment and the canopy comes all the way down. It's the biggest canopy I have seen. It weighs about 16lbs (i think). Anyway I love it and I say def check it out. The only thing you can't do with it is turn the seat to face you.

A lot of places discount the Uppababy (and all strollers) by 10%, so I would absolutely look around before buying. It comes to $611 after the discount.

If you dont care about having a bassinet then I would say the Citi Mini or the City Elite are the way to go. you can buy a bassinet for them but then once you do you are looking at an almost $600 stroller.
having played with them at BBB they both move awesome and close so easy its like magic.
i am pretty sure that you can use them from infant and you can buy an adapter that will allow you to snap in an infant car seat
