Prepping for baby - anyone else do this?

I know this is silly, but last time I made sure to have blue toenails in celebration of my first son's birth.

I always also tend to cut my nails way short in preparing for a little baby hand to be wrapped around it.

and I tend to kind of just "pretty up" with moisturizing and exfoliating, and maybe a little self-tanning, too.

I may go for a wax even...but I'm not sure yet it now is the time to try that again.

Anyone else do things similar to this?

a few days before my due date I got my toes done an a nice long spa pedicure BUT I got my nails cut as short as possible and filed with no polish, the girl teased me about it. I also got a brazilian in preparation LOL

I plan on getting a mani/pedi just before my due date.

This reminds me when I was pregnant with DS I used to get a manicure every week. Well one week I wanted my girl to wax my eyebrows and she told me I can wait til next week. WELL, DS came 5 weeks early and I desperately needed my eyebrows waxed!! I still bother her about it! But to answer your question, yes I do plan on prepping myself to prepare for baby!!!

oh my goodnes, I'm due right now and I haven't done any of this. I've been just making sure the house is ready (clean, nursery set, frozen meals prepared, dogs are bathed, etc). The only thing I've done for myself is that I got my hair cut and I shave more than I usually do during Winter Time (just to be prepared) Now i kinda want to paint my nails pink tho. lol. Thanks for the suggestion

i have been planning my pedicures and waxes around then lining up nicely for when baby comes.

i somehow thing it would totally bother me if my toes weren't nice for delivery...

Last Friday I spent the morning at the salon coloring and cutting my hair. Hopefully I planned it well enough where I won't have to go back for a bit when the babies arrive.

I have also been giving my face a little TLC, I know I will look like crap in the hospital, so if I can help bring about my natural glow, I'd like to try

I got a spa pedicure 2 weeks ago and am planning on getting one more before the big day. And I have been going regularly for mani's to help keep my nails looking nice.

That's about all the prep I have planned.

I will probably try to get a mani/pedi a few days before my due date - but really just in an effort to relax! I am in desperate need of getting my roots touched up too and am trying to fit it in before but not sure if it is going to happen!

nope but maybe this is why my stubborn won't come. . maybe he is embarrassed bc I have not done my toenails or eyebrows in a while..

waxing I wouldn't go near on a dare/bet/etc but luckily god has given me a permanently groomed bikini line. . I know TMI but really, at this point I have no shame left!

I've been getting the mani/pedi for the last few weeks, thinking this one would come early. no luck. i got my highlights done last week, and my last mani/pedi yesterday. now lets go.

I am in the process of setting up a Brazilian appointment. I am also going to get a mani/pedi the weekend before my due date.

I just told my best friend that if my timing is off in planning pedicures that it will be her job to paint my toes before I go to the hospital.
