Glass Bottles
Is anyone registering for glass bottles? DH & MIL are talking me out of regular for the first couple months because glass is safer? Any ideas, suggestions pros/cons?

Re: Glass Bottles
all I used the first time and all i will use the 2nd time, too...
I was all for glass bottles and using them even before the whole "BPA scandal" came to light, so I was glad I trusted my instinct.
to me, glass is so much more natural than plastic, especially if it will be heated, kwim?
i've only broken a couple , and the don't shatter.....they tend break into big pieces, which is better.
and they are so cheap!

Re: Glass Bottles
I mostly registered for glass bottles and a couple of BPA free plastic ones. My mom convinced me to at least try the glass bottles, kind of makes me feel better since you hear all these bad things about plastic being heated up.
I figure I'll use the plastic bottles if I have to or if I'm out.

I am going with them. I just feel better about them. We don't drink out of plastic so why should the baby.

Re: Glass Bottles
we used glass bottles for DD for the first few months until she stopped taking the bottle. I really like them and had no problems.. we got the inexpensive evenflow ones.. dr. browns and born free has them too, but they are a lot more $$$
A lot of company's sell silicone slip ons to prevent breaking too and they look cute
