Re: Headache relief?
I would sometimes have a cup of black coffee to help (I think mine was due to caffeine withdrawl).
Or, ice packs on my head.
Usually, it's hormones that causes it. So annoying. They go away though, usually!

Yeah I had some coffee and some diet soda today to try to get rid of it...no dice. Maybe I will have more soda with dinner. TY

Re: Headache relief?
I had horrible headaches at the beginning of my second trimester and this is what I did: used my lavender microwave pillow and put it on my eyes and forehead, drank tons of water, had DH rub my temples, take a warm shower, or had a piece of dark chocolate or some pepsi.
Feel better!

I do all of the above except the lavender....I use organic essential oil of peppermint on my temples. It has a coolling and tingling affect and lessens the headache - Iused to use when I was getting a migirain. It works!! It's safe too....my cousin is a holistic Dr. and recommended it. I always keep it in my bag.

I would go for a regular pepsi or some chocolate...they worked the best for me...just needed that extra little caffeine to get the headache to go away.
