Romina furniture

Did anyone buy Romina furniture for their nursery? DH and I are thinking about getting it from Behrs, but it is pricey. Wondering if anyone got it and loved it! Was it worth it?

TIA! Chat Icon

Re: Romina furniture

This is EXACTLY what we fell in love with! It is made so well, the drawers are amazing, and I loved that it was pretty without being too ornate.

But I *think* we've decided on a Stanley Young America collection instead, just because we can get 4 pieces from Stanley for the same price as the crib & double dresser from Romina.

Also, right now the nursery is kind of small, so the Stanley furniture is a better fit.

But ugh, we have gone back and forth so many times because we both LOVE the Romina Nerva in white. GORGEOUS!!!

we ordered it, but haven't gotten it yet. It was definitely pricey, but we felt the quality was significantly better than the less expensive options.

Re: Romina furniture

Thanks everyone! We definitely love it! DD has a PBK set, in white, which I'm happy with but the drawers are not nearly as easy to open.

I think we will go for it! My only other concern about the crib is I read that it is a drop side. Isn't that illegal in NY?

Are you getting the convertible crib? The one I saw at Behr's didn't look like a dropside.

Re: Romina furniture

We bought our Romina crib at Behr's and it's MUCH higher quality/better reviewed than PB and many others...there are no more dropsides...they have updated them all..we were worried about that, too..

I wanted the one in the picture above, which the person at Behrs didn't say it was drop side or not. I asked if it was convertible and she said it converted into a toddler daybed. When I google it, everything says drop side. Chat Icon

I don't think either of the cribs are dropside anymore. The one that converts into a toddler then a double definitely isn't, and the one in your picture didn't look like a dropside to me when I was there, although I didn't study it since we wanted the other one!

That makes me feel better! I will call and ask before ordering to make sure. We loved both models, so in the chance that it is, we will just get the other style!
