Fixing a Stuck Zipper?
The lining of my jacket has gotten caught in the zipper. The zipper isn't budging. Any tricks on getting the zipper unstuck?
I'm so annoyed - this is a brand new jacket!

Re: Fixing a Stuck Zipper?
What kind of material is it? Soap might help, but if it's silk or anything not washable (like if it says dry clean only) I wouldn't try anything... take it to a dry cleaner with a tailor and see what they say.

Re: Fixing a Stuck Zipper?
I read somewhere that if you rub the zipper with against a candle it can help get it unstuck and prevent future issues. worth a shot!

Re: Fixing a Stuck Zipper?
The zipper on my winter coat gets stuck from time to time- try wetting it a little. Mine is one of those puffer coats.

Re: Fixing a Stuck Zipper?
With a lot of patience, slowly try to work the zipper either up or down and pull the caught material out of the way.
It's not a matter of waxing the zipper to make it slide easier, it's that the fabric might be too close to the zipper teeth itself.
