Crusie
Looking for a short warm getaway. I've never been on a crusie. How are they? Any info would be great!

Re: Crusie
Cruises are my favorite way to vacation. I love how you wake up in a different location each morning and you get to do as much or as little as you want. There is always some sort of activity or entertainment going on, 24/7 free food, and you get to see a bunch of different places (depending on the itinerary).

Re: Crusie
check out the boards on cruisecritic.com. The people over there are very helpful. We have been on two cruises and are taking a third one this Spring. I like that we can drive to the port and are on vacation. They do the schlepping and I am at my location. I also think the value for the amount of money spent is great.

Re: Crusie
I love cruises! I'll take a cruise over any other vacation - it's by far my family's vacation of choice. Even my SD (who is 8) says she would rather go on another cruise than go to Disney World.
Food is great and there are always lots of options. Ports of call are great and again, there are lots of options. You can spend time w/lots of people or spend time alone. You can do family style cruises, formal cruises, party cruises, etc. And, as a passenger, you really are treated very well by all the staff. Plus, I really feel like you get the most bang for your buck w/a cruise
