One more for girls at the end....

My countdown says 15 days!

And while I'm trying to take more laid back approach to this baby than I did my first....I still have not thought about packing a hospital bag, decided if I'm breastfeeding, put up the crib, etc.

I'm starting to think that this is too laid back.

Anyone else? Can you either commiserate or make me feel some pressure so I move my behind on these things?

Honestly, this is your second, so there's not that much pressure. It will come to you to make your decisions.

I'm guessing the baby is going to sleep in a bassinet or co-sleep with you. Not that big of a deal. Maybe DH will put some fire under your butt.

LOL...DH is no help. If I'm not pressuring him he's not taking initiative. Kind of makes me want to kill him. The crib thing is totally his thing. Baby will go in the crib from day 1 like we did with DS #1. I guess in my head the worse case scenario is that he puts it up while I'm in the hospital.

I think I really just need to take some time early this week to put some things together for my hospital bag.

I haven't started a bag yet..

I bought a black robe....that's about it.

I just don't FEEL like doing it, I guess.

I'm not even in the mood to have to give birth again, let alone pack a bag.

DH begged me to pack a bag after my last OB visit and was told I am progressing, having major contractions a week ago where I thought it was time and being all my boys were born in my 37th week....where I am now. haha - otherwise it wouldn't have been done. Not complete but some stuff is put together at least.

Not much else is done. I washed some gender neutral stuff that I had form the boys last week. Last night we pulld out the car seat and stuff which we had packed in a Pod in a driveway...all that has to be cleaned, set up put together, etc. My issue is I am under construction and no where to put anything without it getting dirty and I am out more than half of my normal rooms. I am hoping they can prioritze the new baby's rom this week so I can at least move in the furniture and be able to store clothes and diapers and stuff for this poor baby!

my countdown says 18 days and I still haven't done any of that either. Well I do know I'll be breastfeeding but that's about it.

I am about 30 weeks. I was very laid back and not planning anything until about 2 weeks ago when my nesting kicked in. I have since been driving my poor DH crazy to get the nursey done which he did in about 2 weeks. I definitely think it is easier to be laid back with the second one. JMO.

I have 10 days left and I have not packed my bag yet though have most other things done!

Maybe if I get results back from my tests this week that ANYTHING is happening it will light a fire under MY butt. .

ok, you ladies are making me feel better.

The breastfeeding thing is just a little complicated. I am on anxiety medication and I just haven't done enough research to make a decision as to whether I don't breastfeed (and therefore baby basically comes off the meds cold turkey too) or breastfeed even just for a little while to try and wean him which is how they would take me off the meds. I feel like it's the lesser of two evils which is so awful when I'm talking about a newborn.

truthfully this is probably one of the areas I should prioritize and get my facts straight.

This is my second. I have 35 days to go the nursery will be done today, I have washed all the baby clothes, packed my bag just waiting on DS new big boy bed to move the crib.

I have had mine packed for weeks.... Maybe im nuts! But everything is where it should be and ready to go. This is my first and im so excited but very nervous! If I was not ready I would be even worse.

Lisa... I pretty much packed my hospital bag the day I went into labor with little Meatball! How's that for leaving it to the last minute?

I am 34 weeks and so far all I have done is hospital bag packed, formula and 1 package of diapers bought and my DS and DD's clothes laid out for the few days I'll be in the hospital (I'm a control frak about that stuff )

We are in the process of construction and the switching around of rooms, so the babys stuff is not assembled , so the furniture is sitting in my LR in boxes...

DH did take the swing, ouncy etc. down from storage and I would like to have it set up this week so my DD gets used to seeing it around...
