losing your Mucus Plug in PIECES
what would that look like? Just an increase in CM? Possibly tinged with blood? Or is it different than that.

That happened to me with DS - not to be gross but it was like chunks of green mucus in the toilet 
I never went into labor with him.
I didn't lose any MP with DD, and went into labor with her (9 days late but whatever  )

mine started out looking like snot, and then it was watery-jelly-like (like the jelly stuff in a jar of gefilte fish) and then it got tinged w/ blood. when i saw the blood (brownish-pink) i called the ob.
are you having any menstrual-like cramps?

Since the beginning of my 3rd tri I've been having an increase in CM - just meaning it's watery and I had to start using a pantyliner. But today (at 38 wks) it's suddenly become thick-booger like. Not tinged in any color. Kinda like the EWCM when you ovulate, kwim? I'm very curious if this is the beginning of something. (keeping my fingers crossed, I guess).
I have had VERY dull menstrual-like cramping for the past couple of weeks. Nothing painful. No contractions.

the first day it was snotty. When I wiped it was just clear snot on the toilet paper.
the second day it was snotty and a big jelly fish like piece came out.
the third day snotty and a really big jelly fiish looking piece with blood in the middle came out.
the 4th day labor started and DS was born!!

I've had some EWCM like stuff I noticed the past couple of days too and have been cramping since the weekend.

Mine started yesterday morning, was thick brownish "snot". Then last night it looked like a huge brown slug! So gross. Today its still occasionally "snotty" when I wipe after peeing. Sorry for TMI.
