What's with all the acronyms?
Why do I need to break out my decoder ring when reading a post of this board? Let's make a change for the new year and actually spell a word out. It's only a few extra kew strokes. Probably takes the same amount of time to type out the whole word as it does to capitalize three letters. Come on ladies we can do it!!!

honestly you just get used to it. . and when you use the board a lot it just saves time. . I don't think anyone gets anything more from me spelling "baby dance" when it only means something in chat anyway 
I mean I'm with you to get annoyed when people write KWIM in formal letters but there aren't that many acronyms here and it IS a chat forum. .

Trust me, you get used to it! I felt like I needed magical powers in the beginning to understand the board...but you jump write on the chat lingo train!

And just in case you didn't know... "chat lingo" is available under chat on the toolbar... I know it's helped me in some questionnable times....
this lingo has even become part of work emails I must admit... IMO I wish we had all of the emoticons to use there too!!!
