help w/eyebrow threading

i've never gotten my eyebrows professionally done before, and after letting them grow out for about 3 weeks now i am going to get them threaded for the first time.
i've been pouring over posts and most places recommended by a lot of people seem to be in nassau or further west than i am. do you think it's worth it to travel a half hour, say to nina's herbal salon and shanaz in commack - which many girls seem to be pleased with? or do you think most places do just as good of a job as the next?
also, when they shape your eyebrows, do they just do what they can do? or do i have to explain or show them a picture of what i like/want etc?
and if anyone wants to give me any feedbcak, the places i am tossing up going to are: sugar sugar, in port jeff. nature's touch, in setauket.
femina's, in selden (it seems they are a chain and have one in huntington and one in nassau?)
and nina's, in commack (a hike for me, though, not sure if it's worth the drive)

it seems also that a lot of people think the indian salon's are the way to go for excellent shaping... i'm not sure if sugar sugar or nature's touch are?

i know this probably seems like a lot of obessing but, it took a lot out of me to grow them for 3 weeks (seems like an eternity!) i want to get this right!!) TIA

I do not know those places, but I currently travel 25 minutes to get my eyebrows threaded. Last time, however, I decided to go to a place by me and I hated how they turned out and have been growing them out ever since. For me, personally, it is worth the 25 minute drive.

i get them done at nina's herbal salon in commack- cmk rid just south of jericho tpk.

i would go to any Indian salon. I've tried 3 and I'm happy with all of them - Nina's is my least favorite of the 3. I liked Lakshmi in Smithtown way better than Nina's, and I also go to Pooja in Levittown.

Actually going to Pooja tomorrow!
