Ceramic watches? Yay or nay?

I am on the hunt for a new watch. I really want something semi-dressy but that I can wear every day. I see that ceramic watches are popular now but I don't know how practical or hardy they are (I beat up on all my stuff since I am such a klutz).

What do we think? And if I went ceramic, would white be good for everyday?

I like them but I *think* they are actually a little pricey.

I wouldnt want to pay a lot for a watch that could easily break or be banged up.

I have an MK watch that is part SS and acrylic.
I love it.

I have a white one that I got at Macy's its either fossil or guess, it was less then $100 and I love it. I wear it all the time and I get so many compliments on it. it looks a lot like the Gucci one that is $$$$$$

it is a lot bulkier then my jewelry watches but I love the look of it

I think the band is plastic though. so far I haven't broken it and I got it last Christmas- I am really rough with my watches. it def feels better in the summer when its not shoved inside a sweater or dress shirt sleeve, but I still wear it

ETA- maybe the band is ceramic, I wouldn't know for sure

I might buy MK one with my holiday money, but was nervous about breaking it. I love the look of them.
