hair color HELP

the most recent picture of me is my user pic... just click on my id, and you'll see it.

that's what i look like. i have been coloring my hair the same shade of red since i was 14. i have tried different colors every once in a while, but i always come back to miss clairol's torrid # 670 with #10 peroxide.

my hair has grown out A LOT and i've been too busy to color it. so i'm about half a red head hald a brunette... with gray Chat Icon

my question is... what do you think if i were to do an at-home color of chocolate brown for the winter? i'd probably come back to red in the spring, but i was wondering of doing something different.

Re: hair color HELP

fyi you wont get "red back" if you do it yourself at a later date...just thought i would remind you to save you money if you really do love your red :)

Re: hair color HELP

I think it would look great. Just remember that red is the hardest to get in and out of hair. You could end up with more of a chocolatey auburn (happened to me) and when you want to go back to red you'll probably have to have it professionally done at first.
