Anyone Love High Heels
I have a ton but never wear them because they hurt my feet so much. Any tips to make them more comfy?
Insoles? or certain brand more comfy?
Thanks!

Re: Anyone Love High Heels
I just try and go for Quality over Quantity. I find the most comfortable pairs of shoes I own are Jessica Simpson, Nine West, and BCBG.
ETA: I usually only use insoles for boots. But they help a lot!

Re: Anyone Love High Heels
I have a lot of 4" plus heels. Some of my heels are pretty comfortable. The sole is padded, which makes a big difference. (ShoesUSA.com offers different levels of padding, but they're more for going out than everyday/work.)
I've never really done anything to make a pair more comfortable. I kind of just grin and bear it.
I'm limited in suggestions for brands because I'm a 12, but I find Stuart Weitzman to be comfortable, along with Sam Edelman and Pella Moda.

IMO, there is no such thing as comfortable high heels over 3-1/2", LOL! I use the non-adhesive gel inserts for the ball of the foot. Seriously, I can't believe the difference! I find them especially good for no arch support stilettos.

The most comfy heels I own are L.A.M.B They are 4"+ and I have 3 pairs, and they are the only heels that never once bothered my feet.

Re: Anyone Love High Heels
I live in heels, the higher the better. I actually find my feet hurt more in flats.
The most comfortable pairs I own are Calvin Kleins. I've always been able to wear them and have ZERO problems (no pain/blisters etc). The same goes for badgley mishka, although I would rate the calvin kleins above them. I also like Jessica Simpson shoes.
I've found I've had major pain from Ann Taylor shoes and Coach.
I've tried those gel pad things you can get at DSW for the shoes and they work ok, espcecially the ones that go around the toe area.

I don't think heels need to be uncomfortable. Sometimes you just need to try a bunch of different brands and heights to know what works for you.
Nine West and BCBG are my most comfy heels. I try to stick to between 3-4 inches -- any higher and I'm not comfortable, any lower and I look dumpy.
I swear by those ball of foot cushions. Any brand will do.

Re: Anyone Love High Heels
When it comes to heels I agree with a PP, it's better to get the better quality ones even if they are more $$. You feel the difference as you walk especially you like stilleto heels. Jess Simpson, BCBG have comfortable heels. Also the more comfortable ones (at least to me) have some type of padding on the front of the shoe. If you like platforms those are way more comfortable then regular heels.

Re: Anyone Love High Heels
I think it's totally subjective b/c it depends on how you walk, your feet etc -
I LIVE in heels - I swear by Nine West as the most comfortable - my coworkers hate them.
I love my CLs - again, coworkers hate them
I can not for 10 seconds stand in a pair of Jessica Simpson's shoes - for as beautiful as they are they KILL my feet almost immediately - Other posters have named them the most comfortable !

Re: Anyone Love High Heels
Almost all of my shoes are 3"+ heels. The best tip I ever got was from my mother for my wedding shoes, and I swear by it now:
Buy them a half-size bigger than you need and put a gel insole in them. That way they fit when you need them to and when they start to hurt toward the end of the day (and your feet are swelling), you can take the insoles out and they're automatically a half-size bigger again!
ETA: I also find that Nine West has some of the most comfortable heels.
