if so, dh and i went to dinner there a month or so ago and thought the food was just alright... nothing special but not bad by any means. we ate in the bar area and have never been to a party there so i can't give any feedback on parties

The food is great and they do a nice party.
My grandmother just had her 90th Birthday there.

My brother got married there and we did my dad's 75th there. Food was very good and very reasonable..they were also very helpful when I was planning my dad's 75th.
We've gone there as a family for many years, I believe my parents started frequenting Koenigs when they moved to Long Island in 79. And still make at least 1 visit when they come to NY to visit once a year.
