I don't know what it is..
About a week ago I prepared a bottle for Antonio and as iwas feeding it to him I noticed it was green inside like mold floating around in his cereal. I was so freaked. Yesterday we were out and I prepared a bottle from him (luckily it had a stage 1 nipple by mistake and he was sucking but nothing was coming out) again green stuff floating around like mold.
What the heck is it?
I use Nutramigen and he also has some cereal in his bottles (oatmeal) for thickness. I use powdered formula.
The bottles came from two different formula containers and different cereal boxes.
Has this happened to anyone?
Does cereal go bad? IT is so gross! I hope Inever fed him a green bottle in the middle of the night!

Could it be from inside the bottle? Maybe it wasn't completely clean?
It is strange that the formula and cereal were from different packages.

Is the price label still on the top of the can. Maybe some of the ink leaked into the bottle when you were making up the bottle.

I believe it might be the oatmeal spoiling. I know if I let a bowl of oatmeal sit for a while on the counter (b/c DS didn't eat it and I hadn't washed it yet), it turns a green color. I believe if you mix up a bottle with cereal in it, you should give it to them immediatly... It will less chance of it spoiling.

do you completely take the nipple out of the ring to clean? Some milk could be staying underneath and going bad.
or the tip of the nipple? I never did it so I don't know but is cereal harder to clean out of bottles/nipples?
