Brazilian Wax Salon Rave

I got my first Brazilian wax EVER at Yasmeen Salon on Jericho Tpke in Floral Park/New Hyde Park for only $25 Chat Icon and I would totally recommend her to anyone!

I was really hesitant since no one I know goes to her for that, I had no idea what she was like and after all I read on here I was taking a chance! I have been there for my eyebrows before, but I just happened to be there this time getting a gift certificate for someone. So, I asked her experience with BW and told her how I was nervous just going to anyone. She said she has been doing it for 18 years and has several clients daily for BW.

I was so surprised at how little it hurt1!! I mean it hurt but compared to what I was expecting it was nothing! She sprayed antiseptic first which may have had a slight numbing effect. She worked quickly enough but carefully. I tried to keep talking througout since I was uncomfortable and scared of the pain but it went quick. I was worried also because I have sensitive skin. She just put neosporin on at the end. She also said I had finer hair so maybe that is why it didn't seem that bad.

That's a great price! I never get why so many other places charge so much more!

I was in and out within 10-15 minutes! Is that normal? I have to say today I did notice a bit of "stubble" and couple of hairs, is that normal for a BW? Or, did she not do as thorough of a job? still, I'm fine with it for the price and how it wasn't so bad overall. And, much easier than trying to shave!!!

That seems really fast for a Brazilian. You did the whole thing in that time? Maybe you're just not very hairy in the first place Chat Icon If you shaved before the hairs might not have been long enough for the wax to grab when she pulled.

Yes it was that quick! And, I hadn't shaved for weeks before, so I guess like she said, my hair is just fine. Can't wait to go back again Chat Icon
