Anyone ever been to a Beaches?
We're trying to plan a trip for DH and I, his parents and mine. We wanted to do sandals. HOWEVER, my parents want to bring my little sister (who's 14). In this case, we're debating staying at beaches. Has anyone been to beaches? Is there alot to do for adults or is it geared mostly toward children?

We went to Beaches in Turks and Caicos last April. We brought DS, who is 4, but I think there was cool stuff for the adults too.

Re: Anyone ever been to a Beaches?
we went to beaches sandy bay for DH's cousin's wedding a few years ago. this resort was rather quite (we went in september) so it was perfect but the beaches down the road (Beaches Negril) was bumping the entire week we were there since we went to dinner there a few times. Beaches had the same quality service and food as sandals. we enjoyed our selves very much.

Re: Anyone ever been to a Beaches?
I went in September. If you search my screen name along with the word Beaches, you should see some posts and photos. My family and I had a ball. There were certainly many activities geared toward teenagers but they might be turned off that so many other activities were Sesame Street related. There was a pretty active group of teenagers, a teen nightclub and an X-Box lounge. I met some people who loved the fact that their teens could do things without them but they knew where they were and the resort is very safe. I guess it depends on the kid.
