Re: girls sandal question
I was told that they should wear socks for the first couple of times to wear them in. Then you can wear without socks.

Re: girls sandal question
I would say without. Sandals with socks irks me If you see her feet red or blistering, just try em a short period of time each time till she wears em in... of course on a chilly day, socks are fine too

I hear you, I definitely purchased them with the intention of being worn without socks but I wondered if her toes would poke into the holes in a way that would be annoying to her.

John Anthony had almost identical ones in brown last year, I just found them, (Still in mint condition if little brother can fit his big feet in em ) but I dont recall him having any problems with wearing them.
I will say that Ive noticed with both my boys, the first few days of wearing sandals are a struggle, theyre like "what is this shoe, I want my socks". I had bought Nicholas a cute pair of spiderman sandals for his bday, to wear with his spiderman outfit, and he FLIPPED when I put them on him and refused to wear em I think it takes them time to adjust to the sandals in general, not that it necessarily hurts them, if that makes sense. once they relate sandals to "outdoor water fun, getting our feet wet" there are no more problems

Re: girls sandal question
My niece has worn those sandals both ways, I think generally my SIL prefered them without but I think she wore them with socks like someone said the first time she wore them which also happened to be Memorial Day weekend so it might have been a little chilly especially outside at night.
I know you said girls, but I get Aidan these sandals in brown and would never think of putting socks on with them - I dunno I kinda think girls can get away with it, but boys nuh uh LOL

Re: girls sandal question
Without. I had those shoes (similiar) for Gabriella last year and I think they are some of the less bothering for under 2.

Re: girls sandal question
When I bought Emily's at Stride Rite (they are VERY similar) the saleswoman told me to have her wear them with socks for a while to break them in and then without is fine. They look really cute with the frilly socks, IMO.

Re: girls sandal question
I would put them on bot ways with and without I think they would look cute with the little ankle socks with the lace on them and a skirt or a dress

I agree, I think both ways are cute- kiddies can get away with anything.
