Hair emergency!!!!! Any hair dressers around? Anyone????
Tuesday night, I went to my hairdresser that I have been using for 6 years.
I have dark ash blonde hair, and usually do a lighter blonde highlight.
Last time she asked if I would ever do a single process- meaniing dye my hair 1 color- less time in the chair and save money.
So, this time I said sure, let's try it. I asked for a buttery blonde- for lack of a better example- Martha Stewart color (she was on a magaizine cover at the salon).
Well, when it was done, I didn't love it, but I didn't complain, just figured I would give it a day or so to see what I thought. It was dark out when I left the salon, but when I got home and took a good look in better lighting, I nearly died!!!! It looks peach!! It is hideous!!!!!! It is not a color found in nature!!! Aside from it being an awful color on it's own, my skin now looks pastey white and my eybrows look black. It also looks kind of fried.
After she did it, she said that it didn't come out as light as she planned and that she used the highest/strongest ? volume- bleach I guess and that this only happens when a client is pregnant... Well I'm not pregnant....but my hair is GROSSSSSS!!!
She is not in today and the soonest I can get back there is Tuesday!!!
Help, what went wrong? What should I have her do to it??????

Ditto...it will remove some of the brassiness.
