Ok- so you guys were right...
I was home last night, and put Ryan to bed myself- and sure enough- it was a peaceful night in my household!
However- @ 4:30, he woke up very hungry, Ive noticed a increase in his appetite the past few days, esp. @ night- not sure if he is making up for when he was sick, or he is just hungry... my question is- how can I get him to eat more during the day- so he dosent wake so early to eat in the am.
Last night he went to bed @ 7:30 (finished his last bottle) woke @ 4:30- screaming cuz he was hungry- I fed him and he went back to bed until his normal 630/7...??? I tried increasing his intake during the day- but no such luck...

Re: Ok- so you guys were right...
Emily seems to be hungry more at night lately and in the morning as well. She went through about a week and a half's time when she was waking in the middle of the night and I swore she was hungry so a few times I ended up feeding her even though we never take her out of the crib out night, usually just soothe her back to sleep.
I don't know if it is a growth spurt or not. We've been giving her more solids with her meals -- for example if she has a jar of baby food like usual we'll give her half a yogurt with it at dinner or some of our food cut up very small -- like rice, chicken, she loves steamed baby carrots cut up small, etc. She eats a little more that way and is having a blast feeding herself with her fingers too -- although we do have to help her sometimes!
