So FINALLY have a follicle!
Went for a follie check yesterday and there must have been 1 hiding on tuesday, b/c it is measuring 20.6! Yahoo! The Dr recommended doing an HCG shot to trigger ovulation. She said that it will not effect the outcome, so I am not sure if I want to do it or not. I took an OPK today and it was negative, I go tomorrow to check out the follie again and for bloodwork. I guess if I still don't get my LH surge tomorrow, maybe I should do the HCG shot?? What do you think??

i would 1000% do the trigger shot. its the only way to guarantee ovulation.
with the trigger shot (btw its a fairly painless sub-q shot in the belly) you should either not test until at least 12DPO, or you should test out the trigger by taking HPTs ($ store are fine) for the few days after the trigger until it comes up negative. this is because the HCG in the shot will cause positive pregnancy tests until its out of your system (for me it was normally out by 5-6DPO).
the only side effect I found from the shot is some bloating and sometimes ovulation can be a bit painful, but nothing crazy if you have one follie. good luck!!

do the trigger. i did mine on sat morning. It guarantees the ovulation. GL!
