someone HELP me....
she's been awake since 3:30!! She ate around 7pm and kind of fell asleep while eating!
She's rubbing her eyes and I KNOW she's so exhausted.....

NO!!!
I let her cry....went in once to soothe, she kept crying, went in again and calmed her down and THEN she finally drifted off around 8:15pm.
Then I ruined dinner and had a nervous breakdown.....had to call 4 people hysterical crying

I think you might have to start putting her down, the stage before you did tonight-
It sound like shes getting so overtired, that when she gets in the crib she is fighting it and crying out...
Shana- please try and relax....... this too shall pass!

Hang in there Shana, I know it;s tough and you are certainly entitled to nervous breakdowns, you are in the midst of the hardest job yo will ever have, but it does get easier.

Ding DIng Ding - you are SOOO right Marisa! Shana - put her down before she is dozing off. If you see her rubbing her eyes - she is already overtired!
Also - I KNOW how upsetting it is - but when you are with her - try to remain as calm as you can - they can totally pick up on your anxiety.
