What's your Favorite Marinade for Flank Steak?
Going to a BBQ tomorrow and am bringing two marinated flank steaks. Any suggestions on the marinade? Could be two different ones too (I'm easy)

Re: What's your Favorite Marinade for Flank Steak?
I love a good teriyaki marinade with ginger, garlic, scallions, soy sauce, olive oil, onions.
I let it marinade for about 48 hours so the marinade soaks in. I grill it super hot and baste w/extra marinade so I get a crispy bark on the outside.
I am drooling right now.

None!
My favorite is to allow them to come to room temperature and coat them in kosher salt.. so delish.
Or a little salt, pepper, cumin & lime... yummo

Yo Soy marinade - its is yummy. I always get so many compliments when I make it. I let it marinade at least 24 hours.
Plain old Adobo - I put it on the day before and let it marinade. I make a chimicurri sauce as a side/

Re: What's your Favorite Marinade for Flank Steak?
I haven't tried this yet but it sounds so good! (Its from Martha )
Ingredients
Makes 6 servings.
* 1 cup soy sauce * 1/4 cup packed light-brown sugar * 3 tablespoons cider vinegar * 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce * 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard * 1 teaspoon red-pepper flakes * 1/4 teaspoon ground pepper * 1 flank steak (about 2 pounds) * Vegetable oil, for grates
Directions
1. In a 9-by-13-inch baking dish, whisk together soy sauce, sugar, vinegar, Worcestershire, mustard, red-pepper flakes, and pepper. Place steak in dish and cover dish tightly with plastic wrap. Swirl dish so that marinade coats the top of steak. Refrigerate 1 to 2 hours, turning steak occasionally. 2. Heat grill to high. Remove steak from marinade, letting excess drip off. Pour marinade into a saucepan and simmer over medium-high heat until reduced by half, about 10 minutes. 3. Clean and lightly oil hot grates. Grill steak, covered, 6 minutes; turn, brush with glaze, and grill until medium-rare, 6 minutes more. Let rest 8 to 10 minutes before slicing.

Re: What's your Favorite Marinade for Flank Steak?
Sounds weird... but a bottle of French salad dressing. It is REALLY good.
Another one I do often is a half bottle of sweet and sour sauce.

Re: What's your Favorite Marinade for Flank Steak?
Here's what I did, I tried to use things I had in the house since I got "farkled" by Earl....
Worcheshire Sauce Soy Sauce Grated Ginger Lime Juice Minced Onion 10 cloves of pressed garlic Salt/Petter
The two flank steaks went in three minutes!
Thanks so much everybody! I have notebooked this thread so I can try other ones on here when I have all the ingredients
