Merrick
Does anyone know who I need to call to get bulk garbage picked up in Merrick? I put out a 5x8 carpet rolled up and my garbage man walks right over it. I have no idea who to call...any help is appreciated!!

I had to call the town sanitation dept (North Hempstead) and schedule a pick up. They come about 3-5 days after you call. You need to give them a detailed list of what you are putting out and they will tell you how they want it rolled, bagged, boxed, etc.
