need a great threader nassau county
I like mine, don't love them...anyone have any recommendations..close to merrick?

There's a really good on in Hicksville (107) and in Levittown (Gardiners Avenue)

Yep I go to Pooja on Gardiners. If you get off at the Hempstead Tpke exit on the Wantagh, make a right on Gardiners and they're the first shop on the left. Can't miss it.
They're the best I've found in the area.

Ive been to pooja and not happy with them at all.
i now go to the broadway mall they is a threading store not a kiosk. Its down by payless. they are great there. much more than pooja but well worth it. pooja is 4 the threading store is 8.

Why are you unhappy with Pooja?
I also like the place in the source but they're $10. They're goooooooood tho.

Same here. I went when I was visiting my parents and did not like them at all. I feel like they did an awful job shaping my eyebrows and for the most part all they had to do was clean it up because I usually go to a threader by my house and didn't have time to go before I left. My eyebrows were definitely uneven. Additionally, I felt like I was part of an assembly line.
The woman who does mine (in Albany) is so meticulous. I love her. Granted I pay more than $4 for it, but it is definitely worth it to me.

ugh where do I begin. I went to them several times to give them chances to see if it was just a bad day. each time I had to tell them to clean them up, shape them, they were always uneven and everytime I pointed out what was obvious I wasnt asking for anything outrageous she would give me an attitude. I had pooja twice and one of her workers once after that no more.
I went to the broadway mall at the time the threading was done at the kiosk tried them and wow what a HUGE difference!

I also went to Pooja and hated it. They only cleaned my eyebrows, did not shape and they were uneven.
Not happy!

No, but I have a phenomenial facial women/waxing who works from her home in South Bellmore if your ever interested! She is top notch and has been in buisness with well to do clinets for years:)

I go to the Threading Station too. It's at the far end of the Broadway Mall, opposite NY&Co and next to Ruby Tuesday. She's been doing my brows for a long time, and I am happy she's not at a kiosk in the center of the mall anymore. It's an actual store and I am in and out and my kids sit on the couch and wait for me!
