Tile borders, in showers in particular
What height do you usually do it at? I was thinking at about shoulder height-ish, like 5 ft or so? Should it be higher to give the illusion of a taller shower?

We did one in the master bath shower. We have a border that runs around the whole bathroom (about 4' above the floor) with bigger tiles below and smaller above. Then in the shower itself we have a picture frame border and the smaller tiles are on the diagonal inside the frame.

Ours is much higher than shoulder height, but we also have a tile chair rail.
