PSA Amex Cardholders

I just got a card in the mail to redeem Membership Rewards points for gift cards to HOme Depot, Pottery Barn, West Elm Crate & Barrel..

Use 4000 points for a $50 gift card.

I have been looking for ways to use my points to redeem for things I need for the house, particularly a BBQ... So, I would have been able to purchase a $100 gift card with about 20,000 points from WalMart and then purchase the grill from there, or use those points to receive $148 off an item used on the purchase with Shop with Points section.

ANYWAY, so I got this offer-- redeemed for HD gift cards, and saved $250 off the price of my Weber Genesis, so $100 more than the current point value-- which btw, the balance is entirely payed with rewards from my Amex One card and BP Rewards credit card.

So my point is-- if you have Points, and need to buy stuff-- the value conversion on this offer is amazing!

I use points for this stuff as well. I actually got a bag from Coach, got a $250 card from AMEX + I had a 25% off from them and walked out only spending like $40 on my bag
