How far in advance can I make/prepare them?

I purchased and experimented with the cupcake picks for DD's birthday which is next weekend (shown in attached pic.) I was wondering when I can start making them? Would this weekend be too soon? If not, how would you store them? My basement is always below 70 degrees with a dehumidifier, so I don't know if they would be ok down there in plastic containers for the week??? Chat Icon

Any recommendations or words of advice from you chocolatiers?!? Chat Icon

You can make them this weekend for your party next weekend. I think they would be fine in your basement as long as it's not warm down there...you dont want them to melt.

ETA: where did you get the molds? I have never seen these before. You just gave me a great idea for DS's birthday party Chat Icon

Thanks for the response. Chat Icon I keep reading that chocolate shouldn't be stored in the refrigerator which is why I figured my basement would be the best location. It's always a consistent cool temp regardless of the temp. outdoors or in the rest of the house.

As for the molds, I stumbled upon those at Michael's! Chat Icon
