Our Trip to NY.....
Was fun but pure insanity and exhaustion.
Miranda did great on the plane going. She only slept 45 minutes of the 3+ hour flight but we were able to play with her and keep her happy the rest of the way.
She did not adjust well to sleeping away from home. She woke up often and was wide awake at all hours of the night. So needless to say from Thursday night to Sunday night I only got about 9 hours of sleep and even that was broken. I was and still am exhausted.
Miranda was extremely overtired yesterday so on the flight home she started having a complete screaming meltdown for no other reason than she needed sleep. Luckily I was able to soothe her to sleep. I couldn't put her in her car seat for most of it so DH and I took turns holding her. I was so tired myself and when I am overtired I get restless legs so that was miserable.
I am so glad to be back home. We took a long nap this morning and she is over the 3 hour mark on her afternoon nap. I guess she is glad to be home too.
We leave for Disney for Disney in a couple of week and we'll be gone 10 days. After this trip I am not quite as excited about this trip. If we all end up sleep deprived its not going to be pretty.
I am so sorry I missed everyone at the get together. Honestly by Sunday Miranda was so drained that even if we had the time it probably would have been impossible to get her happy for pictures. Her eyes were glassed over all day, even after she had taken a nap.

I am glad that you are back home and able to sleep in your own beds/cribs again! The one good thing about Florida is that you'll be on your own time schedule and as much as you want to get out to all of the arks you'll be able to do it on your own schedule without all those thigns to get to!

Jen - Next time we'll plan picture the first day you get into town. It's tough keeping them on a schedule in a new place. I hope you have a great time at Disney.
Did I send you the unofficial Disney site I found already?

No. I have one site that KPToys had posted a while back. I wonder if it's the same one.
