LIPA - what's the story with them when moving?
We closed 6/29
Contacted LIPA a few days before that - they said they would be there 6/29 between the hours of 8 and 4 to take the last meter from the old customer and switch it to us - we have yet to get a bill - does this sound weird?? (The house was unoccupied for about a year)

if it makes you feel any better, we closed the same day as you and still have not received our LIPA or water bill... if i dont see anything in a few weeks i think im gonna call

We closed May 14th and we didn't get a bill until July I think, so I wouldn't worry about it. But like the PP said if you're concerned, you can just call them.

I remember our first bill taking quite some time to come.... Just call them up and ask when you should be expecting it.... They will tell you when the meters are read and such....
