Oil Burner Help

So, we had no hot water the other day. DH checked the tank and we had no oil!

So, I called and had a delivery made but now, the oil burner won't go back on. He pressed the reset button but nothing. I know it's bad when it runs out and something about sludge. Is there anything we can do short of a service call???

If I need a service call, any suggestions on who to call?? Our contract expired and I didn't get another one yet because it's the summer and I didn't think I'd need it.

I know of people who use COD Fuel for oil deliveries, and there are some companies that do servicing as well - HERE'S THE LINK to put your zip in and see if there are any in your area. Good luck !!
