we recently bought a house and when we closed, the lawn was dry and in poor shape. although the house had IGS, the previous owners did not use it. we are currently waiting to get a sprinkler guy in to make sure the system works okay (when we did the walk through, the owner did not know how to turn it on and said it was winterized). in the meanwhile, there are weeds everywhere and the grass looks basically dead. i realize i am going to have to basically start from scratch and call someone, but i just wanted to get an idea of pricing in case anyone has done this before... thanks!!
