question for the coffee lovers
i'm trying to keep my christmas budget in check, so i've started to put some gift ideas together.
i've decided that SO will be getting a coffee basket, of some sort. he loves the stuff, so i thought i would put together a coffee basket of things he hasn't tried, yet. ok, so far, i'm happy.
here is the question:
yesterday, i was at the supermarket and saw a display of sample sized coffees, they were only $0.99 each.
can i buy them this early? will they keep? they are vacuumed sealed, but will they still be good come december? do i have to have any special consideration in storing it?

I think you can freeze it- but I never really liked those little coffees in all the flavors- they're sort of weak..

i'll have to figure a way that he won't see it in the freezer lol
they aren't flavored... he doesn't like those. they are different roasts.
