Nice! The funny thing, that is the site I actually got the picture off of. I didn't even realize it. I was just searching for pictures, but wasn't paying attention to the site.  Glad you found something you love and a good price.

I'm liking it better with out the star, but maybe it's the yellow flowers in the flower box. I would start with the boxes first and then maybe buy the star and see if you like it or not. GL!

you would have to remove the screens to access the planters or add faux flowers.

I do not have full screens so it would work for me. My screens slide up. But Nfhiem, makes a good point. you could do fake ones.

You could totally do fake ones on the second floor to make things easier. And real flowers on the 1st floor.
Just keep in mind about watering something like that all the time.

LOVE the way they look!
I have full screens too, but I'm able to unlatch and open them just enough to water from inside without having to take the screen out. I specifically planted geraniums because they're drought tolerant so I wouldn't have to go crazy with the watering.
I planted them before they were hanging, and I'll probably do it that way again next year. Mine sit in a frame, so I can leave the frame up and take the copper part out for planting.

Some window boxes have water resevoirs too - I would recommend those, especially if you get lots of sun. I've read that some window boxes in full sun need to be watered twice a day when it's really hot.
here's a link and a google search had several options that were self watering.
