Do need to tip
the guys that here installing our fence & if so.....how much? there are 3 guys here. They screwed things up on my order (but fixed it when I called) but it kind of required them taking part of the fence apart that they had already put up & changing it.

Truthfully, I am so DONE with tipping people for doing their jobs (besides bartenders, servers, etc)...
I would offer them cold drinks and maybe buy them lunch if they are there for a few days

I wondered the same thing when I had my new roof installed 2 weeks ago, but thought better of it - there were at least 20 men at my house, lol!

we didn't tip the fence installers. they did a great job, but there was like 4 or 5 of them and I couldn't see tipping all of them. They were there for 1 day only. Water, drinks or maybe some pizza, but that would be it for me.

I did fill a cooler with ice and bottled water and also put all their lunches in it that they had brought. They were very grateful. They even cleaned and dried the cooler before they left!

I offered cold water throughout the day and hadn't planned on tipping, but in the end I ended up giving him $20. He was supposed to have a second guy on the job and that guy bailed out that morning so he ended up doing the whole job himself and still got it done in one day, had to dodge the neighbor's poison ivy near the property line, and he went above and beyond to put the gate in place the way I wanted it - he had to add extra bracing to secure it to have it open the direction I wanted. I felt he went above and beyond to make sure we were pleased, on a really hot and humid day and he was shorthanded.

I did not tip them although I did offer them water, the bathroom but they didn't ask for anything all day! 
They didn't leave until almost 6pm and I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!
