Need help with face shape, eyeglass choices...

It's been five years since I got new eyeglasses and it's time to renew my license, which requires an eye test. I figured why not get an additional pair of eyeglasses.

I have Prada frames which I love and went to Lenscrafters.com to look at styles. They have a face shape evaluator and they say my face is heart-shaped. Do you agree?

(these are from Christmas, those are my current frames)







When I don't smile it looks more squarish than heart shaped to me. They're saying oval or cat-eye shaped frames are better for my face. I never thought they looked as good as rectangular frames, but that could just be because I tend to like straight lines. So I need your take.

I will keep my current Prada square-ish frames, so I could go for more color in another pair if I want to - but I usually end up with brown or tortoise shell because I think it goes well with my dark red/brown hair color and blue eyes.

Here are some ones I'm considering from LensCrafters, what do you think?










Thanks for looking. Although I know I like square styles and have to just see how they look on, I like getting other people's opinions!

I think the first pair and the last pair are the nicest. Square shapes are great, but as long as you are keeping the ones you have now (which are really nice) I'd go with a different shape. Plus if you hate them Lenscrafters will take them back - I've done that before.

I tend to agree that because of your chin, your face has more of a heart shape, but with a slightly squared jaw. Very pretty

I have a similar shaped face as you and my glasses look like the 2nd pair.

eta: I also have a lot of luck with Coach frames, did you check out them too?

You definitely have a heart shaped face with a square-ish jaw. I like all of the glasses except the oval ones (#4). I think also that your current frames are more delicate. If you look at the pics of your sister, her frames are more prominent but her face shape is different. Either way, you are going to look gorgeous, as usual
