I have a story to tell, that is both awesome and embarrassing
So last Friday I had dinner with a friend who was stopping in MD for one day for work. I knew she had just run a 10k race since I saw it on FB. Well, she lost 30 lbs and has been running since January.
So the awesome part? Her motivation came from seeing me post about running on FB and doing the C25k program.
The embarassing part? I stopped running for about 4 months from Nov-Feb and I am barely running 2 miles. I motivated her and she surpassed me!  
So I decided to use her as motivation and step up my running. I've run 2 days in a row so far and I'm running tomorrow. I've decided that I need to run more than 1-2x a week if I'm ever going to improve and actually make my weight loss goal.
Anyways, that's my story. I'm proud that I motivated someone, but I really need to get going in my running. I should be a LOT farther along than I am.

i think that was the universe gently reminding you of your goal. glad to hear that you ended up inspiring yourself... in a roundabout way

I totally agree! Run in the here and now - don't think about yesterday or tomorrow - run today!
