doorbell....
do you think its ridiculous if i dont have one? I dont want to worry about it waking dd but when i mentioned this to someone she looked at me like i had 10 heads

Not everyone has one. We have a big house, so if we didn't have them, we wouldn't be able to hear any knocking on the door when we are upstairs (The bell wasn't working for a while, and people had to call us on their cell from the front porch to get in....  )

hmmmm interesting.... im not sure if i remember the last time someone actually rang my door bell...
then again, we can see them coming to the door on the security cameras...

i have no doorbell thought it was odd at first but we only have a ranch. If we do finish the basement then I will add one so we can hear if someone is at the door.
