2 bedroom apartment in Amityville?

Does anyone know of any 2 bedroom apartments available in Amityville Village or south Amityville? Our landlord is just the worst landlord on the face of the earth. It really makes me sick to my stomach because we are the best tenants. I have never left a place in bad condition, in fact, I love decorating so much that I always leave it in better condition then when I moved in. My last two landlords have said that DH and I were the best tenants that they have ever have. We only moved into this place 6 months ago because we needed more space because we are expecting in August. The people downstairs are so noisy, we have an incredible amount of mold in the bathroom, more ants then you have ever seen in your life, and utilities that are included in our rent being turned off due to lack of payment, this is unreal. We complained about the noise (it sounds like we live above a club) and the landlord said either deal with it or get out and yelled at us! So we need to move before we have our son and it breaks my heart, I had the nursery all ready and everything. I can't believe that we have to pack everything while I'm about to pop and set up a whole new place and get everything ready before our son arrives but we can't live like this anymore... our rent is a lot a month and we deserve better than this...

so if you know of anything, please let me know... thanks

With the support of family and friends I know you can pull through this...It is going to really hard but he end result will be worth it, you wont have to worry about the mold and the noisy tenants while your baby is sleeping. Wishing you the best!!

thanks, that means so much... seriously I'm about to cry you don't even know me and giving me such support... gosh I really am a pregnant hormonal mess lol.

My in laws are AMAZING. They told me not even worrying about packing that they will get their friends together and do everything for us that I need to focus on the baby. Our town is so small and so tight that everyone is coming together to help us out on this issue, it's really great.

I totally understand about the hormones lol...I live in an apt our landlords live upstairs and their toddler runs and bangs around, they usually stop when we bang the broom against the ceiling lol, so your not alone I totally understand. I am due in Sept as much as I want to move we can't finanically our next move is into our future house. You are very lucky you have a lot of support from your in-laws...just think about the end result. Chat Icon
