Granite Recommendations Please

We are in the final stages of renovating our second floor bathroom. I need to go pick out granite now -- just for the top of the vanity cabinet and two small pieces for the top of the half walls on the walk-in shower.

Job is too small for Lowes/Home Depot -- we'd have to do our own measuring. They will not send someone to double check.

Can anyone recommend a granite place near Lindenhurst that is affordable? We don't need a lot and since it's a second floor bathroom, I'm not looking for high-high end.

I would go and ask them what they have as a remnant......they might have something left from a bigger job and then they will probably give a great price since they are sitting on it.

we were happy with Jim Mar in Deer Park for our kitchen counter - they have the slabs on site, so I would think they would do smaller pieces and even remnants.

I would call Rock Rose Granite in Bohemia. There showroom number is 631-627-6462 or 6460, sry not sure which was there fax. They will show you what they have as remnants, or they may send you to a yard that has smaller slabs or slabs that have broken. I have used them 3 times in the past and alot of familiy and friends have used them also. Very Happy
