Extending the tax credit

My dad saw a story on the news on TV that they are considering extending the homebuyer's tax credit because the senators and gov office are getting so many calls and letters from people about this - anyone else see this on the news?

kind of strange b/c someone from the bank called me the other day and they only wanted to know if we were trying to qualify for the tax credit and that was all - guess they are keeping track of this...

I think you still had to be in contract by 4/30...you just get a little more time to close.

if I heard right on the raadio this morning.
