I just want to Vent
but I can't. I feel like I never know who's reading these boards and if I vent about anything family related I worry so I don't.
Let's just say this trip to NY is stressing me out!!

I feel ya- when we take trips back to NY ...I stess as well! It is a lot to travel with a baby and then to top it off, family back in NY have so many demands... ugh!

It's the same for me too. We live in NC and everytime we've been to LI, it's nothing but stress and I don't get to enjoy myself. It was the same before my son and now it's worse. Our family and friends are sooo demanding as well. We do but don't look forward to going to NY everytime. Maybe that's one reason why we haven't been up there in almost 2 years! We're trying to go up there for 4th of July. We'll see how that goes.
One thing that really irritates me is that we drive 9 hours to get there and when we're there nobody will come and see us, they all expect us to go and see them!  WTH is that all about. We just drove REALLY far and you can't get off your butt and come see us? So it ends up being a stressful visit.
Good luck and hopefully it'll get better!
