Travelers Home Insurance
We're about to purchase home insurance and in our area (Whitestone,Queens) Travelers is giving us the best rate by a couple of 100 bucks. Anyone have experience with them good or bad? I read a consumer reports article that rated them pretty low. State farm was about 200 bucks more. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

We just became home owners so I dont have MUCH experience with them but my father has used them for a very long time and has never had issues! That was why we kept them.

I am an insurance broker and we write through them, they have an A rating. I think they are a good company, not the cheapest out there for home (their auto rates are excellent as long as you are preferred), but def good. They pay out on claims fast and provide great coverage. You will be happy with them for sure!

we have had them for 2 years but havent had any issues or reason for a claim- thank god- so I cant say for sure- but their customer service has been great when we've had questions

A little different, but we have them for renters insurance with an additional add on for my e-ring and wedding band. Just had to put in a claim (fairly small damage to my e-ring, nothing has gone through yet) but the process was pretty painless.

I have Travelers and i love them.... i am also a broker, and i always try my insures with Travelers first!!
