People who looked at townhouses...

People share the area.

I am loving the sound of this option.

Please share what neighborhoods have TH's with pools, gym, etc.

We live in Queens and in our area these are limited...

Nassau, closer to the city the better.

we saw a couple in Syosset. Townhouses were harder to find. We found that there were a lot more condos on the market.

Re: People who looked at townhouses...

We live at a townhouse in Lido Beach, the place is beautiful and has a nice heated pool and a private beach, but no gym yet (the townehouse is supposed to be working on adding a gym to the club house but nothing definite yet).. The club house is nice too it has come in handy for some parties.

ETA - it is a condo, and it is about 45 minutes to the city, and nearby the Long Beach LIRR station

Re: People who looked at townhouses...

My parents both live in Townhouse communitiies that have all of these amenities..

My dad is in Acorn Ponds on Shelter Rock road in Roslyn/North Hills-- Manhasset train station and Herricks schools I believe,

My mom is in The Villas off of 110 in Melville. HHH school district and Farmingdale train station.

Both communities are very nice, and they each have nice sized homes with some private outdoor space.

eta-- Also in Merrick--- Merrick Manor (I think), man-- I lived there in hs and I can't remember the name!! Right off of Sunrise, across the street from the train station. There is a pool, but no gym. VERY small community, but decent size 2 and 3BR units with basements.
