Had the dreaded amnio yesterday
It wasn't that bad, or should I say as horrible as I thought it would be. I did feel very dizzy after it though - doctor said it's like coming down off an adrenaline rush. But now I must remain on the couch/bed for at least 48 hours. really taking it very very easy till monday. They even said no pre-natal yoga on sunday.
The sono they did after it looked really good - the soft market they saw was going away. which is a great sign. and all the limbs measured perffectly. now we just have to wait 2 weeks.
Bean must be telling us that he/she is ok becasue last night I felt a ton of flutters!! we were so excited!!!!

Glad to hear it went well. Did you ask about the F.I.S.H. test which gives you 48 hour results. It's usually an indicator of how the testing is going so far. We opted for that and the 2 week results as well. They say that if the FISH test comes back ok then the final results usually back that up.

I know...it's agony to wait 2 weeks. Actually my 48 hours took longer because I had my amnio in the middle of the christmas holidays...
