blinds - who'd you use?
I'd love to do plantation shutters but I think they're out of our price range. Who did you use for regular blinds and would you recommend them? Can I do blinds and curtains (on the same window) or is that weird? I'm not much a decorator I don't know these things.

yourblinds.com (for a custom window - std wouldn't fit) and JCP.
Very happy with both.
eta: I'd do curtains with blinds.

I've also used yourblinds.com and JCP. I used yourblinds.com for custom blinds and JCP for standard blinds. totally recommend both. And yes, you can do curtains of any type with blinds/shades of any kind. GL.

budget blinds! they came to my house with the book, I picked what I wanted and they came and installed 4 weeks later my custom Roman shades! Excellent quality and service! the $$$$ is worth the convenience!!!

Blinds To Go, the location in Carle Place.
Had custom blinds made for the master bedroom and the den.
Can't complain about the quality or the time it took for them to be ready.
In the master I have side drapes. Haven't finished the den yet.
I'll use them for the roller shade for the living room next. I don't want to do blinds on the really large picture window.
