Char Broil Infrared Grills
Anyone have experience with them?
Another post got me thinking about this again. The flames never shoot up so everything cooks evenly. At least that's what they say.
DH is fascinated.

Re: Char Broil Infrared Grills
Not familiar with the infared grills - but my last grill was a charbroil and it only lasted 3 years. When I went to buy parts for the grill, no one had them so I ended up putting an ad on craigslist and giving the grill away fore free. Now I have my weber and I am extremely happy.

Re: Char Broil Infrared Grills
I had something from the 70s that I loved - I think it was from Farberware. I bought it a garage sale but they still make a version. It had a rotisserie as well.
The only thing was the cleaning. I would line it with foil. I just use my broiler in the oven.
We live in an apartment so we can't have a grill.
The only thing is that the Farberware didn't give the food the same taste that my broiler does. I have convection and it cooks faster and evenly.
