Back to Work?
I am scheduled to go back to work in the next 3 weeks and my DD is 2 1/2 mos and still isn't on a consistent sleeping schedule. She going to sleep bet 8:30-9:00 am and wakes up anytime between 3-4ish coz she's hungry. Typically she goes back to sleep within 40 mins. She wakes up anytime between 6-8ish. Here's my question........for those who went back to work how was your schedule in the AM? TIA

Re: Back to Work?
My husband helped out a LOT when I went back to work. I work in NYC so I have to be out the door by 6:15-6:30 so he basically got the baby ready in the morning. I don't know how I would have done it without him!

Re: Back to Work?
Andrew wasn't a consistent sleeper, but would generally wake up between 6 and 7 am. I got up at 6 to shower and start getting ready. As soon as Andrew would wake up, I would change him, get him dressed and give him his first feeding of the day. Then I'd put him in front of a Baby Einstein DVD in his bouncy seat and continue to get ready for work.
I left for work at 8:00 (lived in Queens) and handed him off to DH who was a SAHD.

Re: Back to Work?
My son is the same type of sleeper and he is 16 weeks old. I went back to work 2 days a week when he was 12 weeks and he sleeps from 9pm ish until 3-4 am and wakes for a bottle. He goes back until 6-7am. I have my DH home in the am b/c he works 3-11 pm. So i get up with the baby and feed him, and then i take the baby into the bathroom with me in his bouncer while i shower. After that, i wake DH and he gets up and entertains him from there while i get dressed and put on my makeup. It works for me. I just hope one of these days soon he will drop that 3-4am feeding. He's killing me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Isabella was the same way... DH and I switched off the feedings every other night...so at least we weren't going more than one day without a good night's sleep...that really helped...
She dropped that feeding at 3 1/2 months and that was AWESOME...then they start teething...
